Established in 2001, BASE Foundation is a Swiss-based specialized partner of the United Nations Environment Programme UNEP. • Electric Mobility: We are demonstrating integrated on-grid, onsite, and on-road businessin Mexico, Kenya, and Colombia to alleviate the cost and access gap for sustnable transportation.

• Adaptation Resilience: In West Africa, BASE's 'Your Virtual Cold Chn Assistant' VCCA provides farmers with affordable cooling solutions, reducing post-harvest losses and ensuring a consistent supply of fresh produce.

• Climate Finance: We support Peru in developing a partial credit guarantee for SMEs seeking financing to invest in green projects.

• Land Use Adaptation: Your VCCA pilot project 'Smart Cool Markets' connects Nigerian farmers with buyers through the Coldtivate app, offering transparency and better market access via digital crop predictions.

• Energy Efficiency Renewable Energy: We're assisting municipal governments across Sub-Saharan Africa to deploy solar energy for public buildings and spaces in Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria.
